Despite free-range egg producers facing a downturn in prices, franchise operator John Bowler's Eggs says its producers should be financially structured to cater for any reasonable reduction in margin.

Like most of the main operators, it is not actively seeking additional new producers as the market swings into over-supply.

The company, 30 years in business this year, specialises in handling everything involved in setting up a would-be producer's
new business and that includes the services of its two employed chartered acccountants and a former bank manager to assist in financial planning and the preparation of cash flows and projections.
