Pullets

We supply all the pullets you will require whilst you are one of our Producers. We realise you are dependent upon us and we do everything we can to ensure that each flock we supply is the best it can possibly be. It doesn’t take years of experience to know that a healthy flock is the first step towards a profitable flock.

Our field support staff monitor the growth and development of your flock and ensure it is reared and vaccinated to our own unique and comprehensive programme.

This is not an office based exercise and every flock supplied to our producers will have been inspected a minimum of 3 times by Bowler field support and the rearing data is also available to us by a computer link every week, so even when not on site we can still monitor flocks.

Our buying power and constant monitoring means that we receive the best quality pullets available.

We provide a team of experienced Field Support Officers who give full training and back up support to all of our Producers.

Field Support

Field Support is provided through farm visits, telephone access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as an office based review of farm performance figures.

New Producers will, understandably, be anxious prior to arrival of their first flock and for this reason our field support begins well before your first flock is delivered.

Prior to housing your first flock we aim to contact you to discuss the historical use of your land and any farming to be operated alongside your egg production operation. This enables us to identify any additional vaccinations that will be required by your flock.

In addition, a series of farm visits are available to help you prepare for the arrival of your flock. We will help you with your Lion Code and Freedom Foods registrations and provide full training in the operation and management of your flock and unit.

To assist Producers we provide a manual for operation and management of your flock and unit, sourced from our many years of experience. It contains all the management information required to run a successful free range egg production business to our system, plus contact numbers and advice.

Field support is available to all Producers and provides a second pair of eyes to identify and prevent problems. Our Field Support Officers are there to help and to do all they can to help you achieve the best profit margins and keep producers up to date with the latest legislation.

We believe that our training programme, operation manual, supporting management documentation and field support are the most comprehensive in the industry. Field support are there to help, assist and guide, not to run your unit or dictate how it should be run.
