Our Open Days are of particular value to you

Firstly, so that you can evaluate why some producers are more successful than others, you need a full understanding of free range egg production and the Bowler operation. This is best obtained by attending one of our regular Open Days. These are normally held at our head office in Derbyshire and concentrate on the factors which affect profitability and usually include a visit to one of our existing working farms.

You will amass sufficient knowledge to ask the right questions to enable you to accurately assess, the potential of any working unit, regardless of any information given to you by anyone showing you around the unit. You will also understand the reasons why a unit may not be performing to its target, and how to make an accurate judgement of possible performance and value. Best of all, you will be able to talk on the subject with your Bank Manager with certain authority

People are often surprised that we make a charge for attending an Open Day. We did run Open Days free of charge but unfortunately we found that we had quite a few people coming for a day trip and a free lunch and it meant that genuinely interested people couldn’t get the facts and information they needed to make a decision.

By making a small charge we found that we kept the numbers down and those people who did attend were there to learn everything they could and had the time to ask all their questions. We charge £60 for the first person and £30 for the second and subsequent attendees – this means that you can attend with your partner, business advisor or other family members without incurring too much additional cost and we feel it represents excellent value for money in terms of the knowledge you will gain about the Free Range Egg Industry and why the Bowler Group offers you so much. If you decide to join our franchise your attendance payment will be refunded.
