My Brother

I have a brother with whom, for many years, I have had very little contact.

Over the years he has occasionally been involved in the poultry industry. Whenever he did work in the poultry industry it caused confusion. As you can imagine the assumption is that he is working within my company or associated with it in some way.

I have recently learned that he has re-entered the poultry industry as the agent for a company which seems to provide a diluted version of the service my company provides.

Any competition this company may provide does not concern me. I would however like to make it absolutely clear that the business operated by this company is in no way connected with my company.

My brother is neither an agent for, nor is he employed by, my company.

Should you become aware of any confusion being caused, I would be extremely grateful if you could emphasise the separation between the two companies, particularly if it reflects upon the trading reputation of either company.

That said, I do wish my brother every success in this new venture and I can only hope it is as successful as all his other previous business ventures.
